[Album] paranoid void – POP MUSIC (2016.10.26/MP3/RAR)

キャッチコピーは”代替不可能性”。大阪発の3ピース・ガールズ・バンド paranoid voidが、他の誰かとは代えることのできない存在になりたいという想いを込めて完成させた、初の全国流通盤となるミニ・アルバム『POP MUSIC』。バンド名は”妄想の”を意味する”パラノイド”と、”宇宙の何もない空間”を意味する”ボイド”を合わせた造語だが、このバンドの掴みどころのない正体を端的に表している。変拍子を駆使しながら、あくまで透明感のある歌声がサウンドの一部として溶け合う独特の世界観。その歌詞はとても抽象的だが、闇の中から見える光を見逃さないという意志が伝わってくる。これでタイトルに”POP MUSIC”と名づける皮肉が痛快。最高に面白いバンドが現れた。

The lyrics are very abstract, but a will not to overlook light to show from darkness reaches it. Irony to name “POP MUSIC” in a title in this is exciting. A really interesting band appeared.
